After graduating from California State University and spending four years in the Peace Corps in India, Bob Allison traveled to the San Juans of Colorado and decided it was where he wanted to be.
In the spring of 1980, Bob started Allison Constuction and initially built several mountain cabins and a few single family homes in the Ridgway and Ouray area.
In the early nineties, Allison Construction helped construct actor Dennis Weaver’s beautiful Ridgway home, the one-of-a-kind “Earthship”.
Through the years, the Allison team has built some of the most challenging and high profile homes and commercial buildings in Southwestern Colorado.
